The Sick: Pray for Mac Quesenberry, Ralph Foley, David Wright, Christine Clark, George Ferguson, and Virginia Turner.
Junior Camp: August 2-6 at Gospel Light Camp in Hillsville. The cost is $60. Registration and permission slips must be in to David Smith by Wednesday the 21st. this is for ages 8-12. Scholarships or sponsors are available for campers. You must see David with your paper work in hand.
For those wishing to sponsor a camper, $60 or $30, we will need your money by Sunday, July 25th.
Van Ministry: Our vans are in need of replacement. The air conditioners are beyond repair. Perhaps you would like to make a special donation for this cause. Mark your offering as “Van.”
Congratulations: Scott and Melisa White announce the birth of their daughter, Abigail Leeann born on July 19, 2010. May the Lord help this little one to grow and mature in the grace of God.
Christian Sympathy: The church extends her warmest Christian sympathy to Roger & Teri Shumate upon the home-going of his cousin, Eugene Jennings; also to Donnie and Peggy and Glenda Howell upon the home-going of the Mother, Mrs. Howell. May the Lord comfort your hearts.
Christian Wills: You may want to consider designating a gift to the church in your “Last Will and Testament.” This could be used for some special ministry. See the Pastor if you are interested.
VBS: A special THANKS goes to all those helping in Vacation Bible School. It was a beautiful example of Christians working together for the purpose of reaching others for Christ. We express our appreciation to Mt. Hermon Brethren Church for sharing the “props” with us, making a dramatic impression on the folks.
