Christian Sympathy: The church extends her warmest Christian Sympathy to Billy & Donna Atkins upon the home going of Donna’s uncle in Indiana and to the Jonathan Hubbard’s family and the families of the others in the auto accident. Also to the Leon Bocock family (Delphine, Margaret & Cleo’s brother). May the Lord comfort your hearts.
The Sick: Buster Ferguson, Trissie Blankenship’s dad, is in UVA Hospital with a stroke; Mac Quesenberry is recovering at home from a broken hip. Wayne Haskins is in Martinsville Hospital. Mary Bray is back at Golden Living. Pray, send cards, telephone calls or visits would be appreciated.
New Member: We welcome Elizabeth Hartsock as a member of the church upon her baptism last Sunday night.
Deacons/Trustees: Plan to meet tonight at 5:00 for the monthly planning meeting.
Business Meeting: The regular monthly business meeting will be Wednesday following prayer meeting.
Food Bank: Thanks to Danny and the pick up guys who faithfully oversee the Food Lion items each Sunday morning. Please help us distribute the food to those in need. You are welcome to take a bag to someone. Please write down the names and information on the form provided.
The Choir: Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord!! Thank God for those helping in the choir. There is still room for more to sing praise to the Lord. Toby has started practice for Easter, so get in on the beginning.
March: Is here, so let’s challenge the “student soldiers” to march back to Sunday school and church.
Special Saturday Creation Series: At Rich Acres Baptist Church on Saturday, March 13th from 10 am – 3 pm. See insert. Perhaps Adam will take the young people to this event. See him if you are interested.
Daylight Saving Time: Next Sunday, March 14th be sure to advance those clocks one hour.
Easter April 4th: Flowers may be placed “In Memory Of or In Honor Of” on that special Sunday in front of the church.
